DJ Zakaos started going to clubs in the when he was fourteen while continuing to studying music and the love of dance . This is how he got into dancing in the clubs. He had found his first love. Soon after he started wondering why the music never stopped ,the beat just went on and on till the break of dawn . He asked the DJ ( Randy Croft of club FX ) how he did it. The answer he gave him was way over his head at the time. Shortly after he started collecting breaks , Reggae, Hip Hop, and Hip house records. Zakaos saved his money for a turntable (belt drive), CD player and a mixer. He soon started counting b p m’s on the CD’s and records .He also learned to match beats at the age of sixteen. In a few years he could afford another turntable. Then years past and I began getting into breaks / funk and old school jungle / drum bass records such as Suburban Bass , Shot in the dark , Stamina , Limb by limb and any other white labels and promos he could get his hands on .Mainly comming from the UK Junglist underground. Shortly after he helped start the underground dance scene in Houston in 1992 along side a hand full of great talent who continues to dj world wide today . DJs like Chris Anderson , Andrea Morant , Tim Exavire and the Ruff Neck djs of the Purrin Lion Sound Flex Crew Respect o Jah and the old school crew, one love.
As the years progressed he has played all over Texas ,Califonia and the U.S. ,Canada , Romania ext…. He loves playing for people outside his city and most of all out of his country , Now in the year 2009 he is looking towards expanding his love of music and vocal talents and urban poetic culture .He looks foward to djing all over the world and curently Romnia as a DJ/Producer,Mc, Dancer ext….. and a creater of beautiful things and positive vibes ….
